Such a limited measure of intlelligence. Also many degrees, and therefore much of academia is simply about developing an argument and backing it up, largely using the research of others.
Lots of typesvof intelligence are ignored here, creativity, quick witttedness, open mindedness. According tobthis measure you could be a total bigot and a genius at the same time, which would seem to most of us a contradiction in terms.

But saying all that what do we all want most for our children.
Is it not that they read learn work hard and become better human beings than we are ?, and to do that you need Intelligence that is brain based schooled etc so a decent IQ is also a good thing to have.

IQ tests may give some of you a false sense of grandeur .
I know some very Intelligent people who would knock me out to hell with what they know and what they have learnt and read, but they have absolutely no socialising skills and would struggle to talk about anything they see as menial to them which in this society we all live in today would be a pretty damaging disability.
Some also lack hygiene and can barely be bothered to wipe there own backside, so a big IQ does not always equate to much more than having an Important part of the human Make up, but without all the other parts that many would say are less Important you will come off as an arrogant stupid fuck, HA.
